This is a CMC 1:18 scale model of the Mercedes W196 ‘Type Monza’ Streamliner as raced in the 1955 Grand Prix season. It was designed with its closed wheels to win on the faster circuits such as Reims, Silverstone and Monza in the 1954 and 1955 seasons.
